This was at soundcheck preparing to headline the Austin Instrumental Music Festival with the Afro-Cuban psychedelic rock band Serumn. I was casually playing up to a Double G to get a feel for the mic when the sound guy said over the house speakers in front of everyone "How 'bout that High C?" which is my Double D. I felt great going into the show after showing the sound guy, and everyone in the crowd, what's up.
Last notes of the last song of an hour set with Serumn, an Afro-Cuban psychedelic rock band from Austin, TX. Ending on a crazy strong high F cutting over the entire amplified band, after performing two two-hour musicals earlier that day!
This was the second show of the day. I played this High F# every show without fail. After playing these two shows, I went to the gig where I recorded my CRAZY POWERFUL HIGH F video.
